Spruces September 2016

On September 8-10 we went camping at Spruces up Big Cottonwood Canyon. It was lovely during the day, but it got really cold at night. We all were able to fit in my parents' trailer. Kristen was their the first night, but then had to leave the second day because she had work. Rusty came the second day because he had work. They just switched places in the trailer.

After only being there an hour, Lily's face was covered in dirt, she had messy hair, and sap on her clothes. She was a happy camper.

In the morning it was freezing cold. Makenna was nice and slept in, but Claire and Lily were very grouchy since they were cold and hungry.

Lily was happier once she had on Makenna's hat and gloves and ate some breakfast.

Claire and grandma were glad when the sun came out and it wasn't freezing anymore.

We hiked to Donut Falls because there was a trail head in the Spruces Campsite.

My mom only brought pajama capris camping, and it was way cold. We gave her a hard time about it.

The girls liked playing in the trailer and thought it was great that they all got to sleep by each other.

Our last morning there we went on another walk around the campground. We found a nice little path that lead us to the deer church.

The girls all got to ride home with my parents. They thought it was great!
