Lately

I thought I should say what has been going on in our lives lately. The best news of all is that Rusty got a new job! He started on September 17th for Canyons District working in the facilities department. He mows lawns and will do other projects in the winter months. It's a contract job so that means he gets benefits! We are quite excited about that because now the baby can have insurance! It's not a teaching job like we've been hoping for, but he's working for a school district so that is a step in the right direction.

My parents have had a very successful garden this summer. I've enjoyed many tomatoes from it. This squash was hidden in the middle of all the plants and got quite large before we noticed it. Keith and it are the same size.

Some days this summer my dad and Rusty like to go out in the backyard and hit the wiffle golf balls. Most of the time they have pretty good hits. There's only been a few that have gone over the fence.

Last week Kristen had the day off of work, so she, Cara, and I went and checked out City Creek. I had never been to the new mall before. It's quite fancy. I felt like I shouldn't shop in most of the stores because I'm not classy enough. But we all got new matching jackets from H&M. They're all different colors. Sadly there were no pictures taken on this trip. We also went and visited Temple Square and saw all the beautiful flowers.

I hit my 36 week mark yesterday.

I planted these flowers from a packet in the spring. They are out of control now and way too long to stand up, but they are lovely to look at!

Baby Shower

Last Saturday my family members were so kind and threw me a baby shower. Liz was wonderful and planned it all, and Aimee made some very cute invitations. Everyone brought lots of tasty food for us to eat! In this picture I am 32 weeks and Aimee is 22 weeks. I think she has me beat in the big belly contest! Good thing she has twins in there.

Cara was the photographer, but it looks like she didn't get any pictures of herself. I got a lot of great gifts. The baby is going to be so trendy with all of the new outfits. Thank you everyone for being so generous!
