Neil Diamond - The Concert of a Lifetime

This past Saturday Cara was so very generous and let me join her for the Neil Diamond concert at Rio Tinto Stadium. It was a rockin' good time. Neil sure knows how to put on a great show. We were a little young for the crowd, but we got to sing and dance along to some of his greatest songs. It's a little hard to see him in this picture. We were really wishing that Neil would have worn more sparkles though.

My Dad's Birthday

July 24th was my dad's birthday. We watched the parade in the morning, and we had barbecue for dinner. Kristen had to work and missed dinner. So we brought her food to Mulligans. We were going to mini golf there, but when we got there we found out there were closing early since it was still a weekday.
The boys each did a round at the batting cages while we were there since we couldn't mini golf.
Then we had cake and homemade ice cream.
I hope my dad had a very happy birthday. He's the best dad ever!

Paul and Amy's Wedding

On July 21 we journeyed up to Idaho for my cousin Paul's wedding. It was at the Rexburg Temple. We woke up early Saturday morning to drive up. It was a beautiful day, even though it was a bit warm.
The happy couple.
Logan and Charity.
The Dimond family.
Grandpa, my dad, and Charlie.
The ladies did a great job arranging flowers for the center pieces.
The boys worked hard at decorating the car.
The girl cousins and Paul.
The girl cousins and missionary Trevor. Kristen got to hold Perry.
Rusty and Logan are best friends.

Wilson Whoopee 2012

On July 12-15 we had the annual Wilson Whoopee. This year we went to Payson Lakes. It was a fantastic time, and of course there was a lot of tasty food! The Dimond family planned great activities for us to do up there.
The Davis family came all the way up from Phoenix.
On Friday morning we went on hike part way up the Mount Nebo trail.
Our long line of hikers.
There was even a deer by the trail head on our way back.
After the hike we went to Devil's Kitchen. Who knew there were red rocks up Payson Canyon!
The hike wore them out.
It ended up raining while we were camping, but we were able to get some time in at the lake.
Everyone crowded under umbrellas and the canopies during the rain storms.
Grandpa wore my dad's hoodie. It was great!
Matt put together some Olympic games for the kids. There was even a medals ceremony.
We played Family Fued. Dave was a great game show host.
We enjoyed the camp fire.
Kristen made some delicious O'Henrys.
Chris' family was so kind and let us use their camp trailer.
The lovely Grotto.
It was rainy on our hike, but it was a fun time!
The triplets.
We went to the Dimond's house Saturday because it was so rainy in the canyon. We did a lot of activities there. Andrew and Rusty like to swing together.
We played water balloon volleyball.
We enjoyed a great game of Big Booty.
My parents also had a good time swinging.
Thanks to Charlie and Logan, we made a lot of Paracord bracelets.
Austin and my mom were the horse shoe champions.
The pie eating contestants. Rusty was the winner!
It was another successful year at the Whoopee! I had an amazing time!
