We're Having a Baby!!

I decided it was long overdue that I mention on our dear blog that we're having a baby! The due date is October 23rd. We just found out on Friday that it's a girl. I was only 19 1/2 weeks then, and the nurse said I was measuring a week smaller than that, but the doctor said the due date is still the same. We're pretty excited, but for now things don't seem too different. Today I am officially 20 weeks. Half way there! But you would never guess looking at me. I decided I should take a picture of myself now so I can remember what I looked like. I'm waiting for the day when the baby belly will suddenly pop out and be huge. Right now there's not much there, but I can definitely notice it on myself! I've been really lucky and haven't had much morning sickness. Sometimes I would feel nauseous those first few months, but if I ate breakfast I would be just fine. I'm hoping the rest of the pregnancy will go as great!

Dog Lake

We went on another great hike this past Friday up Big Cottonwood Canyon. We hiked to Dog Lake, and it was very steep at first. I was quite whimpy the rest of the hike.

Cara and I matched. We didn't even mean for it to happen.

 

 

 Kristen said that she was "enjoying the moment."

 We skipped some rocks at the lake.

 

 Some ducks came to visit us.

Kristen is very skilled at skipping rocks.

 

 There were many beautiful views on the hike back down.
