Lily's 2nd Birthday

Lily turned two on November 17th. We had a fun day celebrating her. It was on a Thursday, and Rusty had to work so she had to wait until the evening to open her presents. Luckily she didn't seem to care.

Lily and Claire both love to read this Princess book.

Lily really liked blowing out the candles.

My parents, Cara, Kristen, and Makenna came to visit us the day after Lily's birthday. They brought her so great birthday presents, and my mom brought all three girls new matching red dresses that they could wear for Christmas.

We got together with the Mendenhalls the Sunday after Lily's birthday because Boston's birthday is two days after Lily's. It's always fun to see everyone.

Lily is such a fun part of our family. She is starting to develop quite the personality and has shown us that she can throw a good fit if she wants to. Lily talks a lot now in sentences. If you ask Lily an "or" question she will always respond by saying both options. It's fun to see Lily and Claire play together now that Lily is a little older and is starting to understand things. We love Lily!
