Claire turned 4 on October 20th. I can't believe she is getting so old. We got to celebrate a few different times. First we had my family over for dinner at our house the Sunday before her dinner. She got a lot of neat presents.
On Claire's actual birthday it was UEA so Rusty didn't have to go to work. We got to party all day. She opened her presents from us after breakfast.Later that morning we met my parents, Cara, and Makenna at Scheels so we could ride the Ferris Wheel. Claire was really excited to go until they told her she couldn't bring her new dog purse Joy Joy on the ride with us. She had a little bit of a melt down, but she was able to have a good time once we were on the Ferris wheel. After we had gone around a few times she told Rusty and me, "Look my tears have dried." It was cute because she was trying hard to be happy and not sad anymore.
After that we all went to Chick-fil-a and had lunch.

Kristen gave Claire some glitter glue paint for her birthday. Claire really wanted to make pictures with it, so that was our last activity for her birthday. I think she had a great day!
We got together with Rusty's family the Sunday following Claire's birthday. Alex's birthday is two days before Claire's so it's fun for us to celebrate their birthdays together.
We love having Claire in our family. She is so much fun to be around and is usually a happy girl. She is getting to be a really good helper, especially now that she's a little taller. Claire really likes to help me cook, and sometimes she likes to do the dishes because it's fun to play in the bubbly water. She has a great imagination and is very creative when she plays. Claire really likes to play store, Primary, and library. She is a great time!
