Payson Lakes July 2016C

My family went to Payson Lakes on July 7-9 with my Uncle Charlie and cousin Logan. We always love it up there. Unfortunately Rusty's back started to hurt the day before and really hurt the morning we were going to leave. He decided to try and come camping with us but ended up going home the next day. It hurt him to sit or walk and couldn't do much. The rest of us had a good time though. The first evening after we set up camp and had dinner, the three girls, Kristen, and my dad walked around the lake while Cara, Chris, Charlie, and Logan fished. It was a lovely time.

The next day we went to the lake. We were there for most of the day and had a picnic at the beach. My dad brought the Challenger for us to ride in, and he borrowed another boat from his neighbor.

That evening we hiked to the Grotto. When we got to the waterfall a family was leaving so we had it all to ourselves.

Our last day there we drove up Payson Canyon to Devil's Kitchen. You would never think that those red rocks were up that canyon, but they sure were. It's a very pretty place.
