The End of Summer

We had a fun last month of summer. This picture is of Lily bending over and looking at us. She loves to do this. She will crawl, stop, and bend over. She really likes it when people look at her and smile while she's looking at them upside down.
Lily also loved this bouncer that hooks on to the door frame. She has been such a bouncy baby whenever someone holds her, and this is the perfect thing for her.
We loved playing with Hailey and Ryker this summer. It was the best to live in the Palmer's basement because we were always close by when it was time to play. They are so nice to Claire and Lily and let them play with them.
Back in July we went to a splash pad in Riverton with my sister Cara and mom. Claire and Makenna loved running around in the water. We also had a picnic there.
My dad's birthday is on Pioneer Day. We celebrated by going bowling!

Claire really enjoyed bowling, but her favorite part was watching the ball come up after the pushed it down the bowling lane. She had a pink ball. She thought different balls were coming up. She kept saying, "there are a lot of pink balls!"
Rusty brought this drum set home from school for the summer. Claire thought it was pretty fun to play it and to play guitar with Rusty.
Claire had a table and chairs for all her favorite animals.
My mom got the girls matching dresses several months ago. We had my cousin Kristin take their picture on August 1st. They weren't super smiley that day, but they still turned out cute.
The girls were very serious.
On August 6-9 we went up to Ashton and visited my cousins, the Judys. We had a great time hanging out. We also went to Mesa Falls. It's very beautiful there!

Kristen, my mom, and me at Big Springs in Island Park. It poured rain on us soon after this picture.
On August 12th we hiked the Grotto up Payson Canyon with Rusty's sister Jenn and her kids. The water wasn't very full, but it was still a fun time.
I needed to get a picture before we moved of Claire and Lily bathing in our shower. They didn't really mind bathing in our small space.
Lily, me, and Claire matched one Sunday.
Lily turned 9 months on August 17th. This was right when we started to move so it was kind of a crazy day. She went to the doctor for a visit. She spit up all over her sticker right when I put it on her, but I guess it will help us remember that she spit up until she was way too old!
Her stats at the doctor were:
Weight: 15 lbs. 5 oz. (8 percentile)
Length: 27.25 in. (35.5 percentile)
Head: 17 in. (32 percentile)
This is Claire at my Grandpa Wilson's house in front of his "scoop loader." She was so excited to see it. She loves construction vehicles.
We ended the summer by going to the Onion Days parade in Payson with Rusty's family.
I got Lily some new binkies. She was so excited for them she couldn't decide which one to put in her mouth.

Lily turned 10 months on September 17th.
Lily likes the tip the toy box over and push her face into it.

Kristen, me, and Cara at our BYU football party.
My dad is great at pushing all the granddaughters.
Claire loved homemade ice cream.

Lily loved the cookies in the homemade ice
