January Birthdays

January was filled with a lot of important birthdays. First, we started off the month by celebrating the great state of Utah's birthday. Kristen and I created this excellent cake.

On the 12th it was my mom's birthday. We made soup that night and had it in bread bowls. We played Bananasgrams after we ate, and then we had brownies and home made hot fudge.

The 20th was Rusty's 28th birthday! It also was Claire's 3 month birthday. We now like to say that she is a fourth. The day before Rusty birthday the two of us went and saw the Hobbit. After church on Sunday (his actual birthday) we went down to Rusty's parents' house and had a fun dinner with all of his family. Then we had cake and ice cream. His sister Jenn's birthday is on the 22nd, so we got to celebrate both birthdays.

 We went out to lunch at Salsa Ledos with my family the day after Rusty's birthday. We all ate a lot of delicious food.

Chris and Claire matched.

 For Rusty's birthday we played his favorite game Risk. It lasted for many hours.

 My mom and Claire were spectators for the game.

  We had Turtle brownies, requested by Rusty for his special day.

On a side note, Claire has discovered that she likes to suck on her fingers. I found her like this one night. She's just like her mother.
