The End of Summer

I'm very sad that summer is over, but it's been a great few months! We got to have a pool party on the 4th of July at my cousin's house (the Steed's) on the 4th of July. There was lots of good food, and it was an excellent way to spend the holiday.

On July 24-26 Rusty got to go backpacking in Yellowstone with my dad, sisters, cousins, and uncles. They went a total of over 25 miles. I stayed back at my cousin's house to help watch some kids, including Claire. We both had a good time doing our activities. They got to see Union Fall, the second biggest waterfall in Yellowstone. There was a lot of prep work that went into this adventure, but everyone made it!

On August 7-10 my dad's family had the annual Wilson Whoopee. This year we got to stay in a cabin in Heber. It was very big and fancy. 

We played a lot of games.

Garrett and Claire loved the air hockey table. They would stand on coolers to play.

We also had a Rook and ping pong tournament. Kristen and I made it to the finals in ping pong.

Rusty started school on September 19th. He's now an official full time teacher at Summit High. I made him take a first day of school picture. This year he's teaching U.S. History and guitar.

One day it rained, and Claire was fascinated by the rain in the rain gutter.

My parents got a swing set in their backyard. Now Claire always want to swing when we visit.

Claire also discovered a love for corn on the cob this summer.

Lately she really likes to sleep with her glasses, necklace, and bracelets. We find it quite funny.

On Labor Day we went and watched the Onion Days parade in Payson with Rusty's family.

On September 6th Rusty and I got to go to a Real game. We had really close seats, thanks to my brother-in-law Chris' brother Landon who couldn't use his tickets. It was an exciting game, and RSL won!

As of September 13th I am 28 weeks along. Less than three months to go!
