So far this has been a pretty good winter. My mom got Claire and Lily these cute sparkly dresses for them to wear to church on Christmas and throughout the winter. Claire gets so excited whenever she sees her "sparkly dress" hanging in the closet.
Rusty's sister Jenn got Lily this cute Christmas outfit. She was very serious when I was trying to take a picture.
On December 8th we went with my family to Temple Square to see the Christmas lights. We ate at City Creek mall before we walked around. It was a little chilly so we had to walk fast to see all the lights.Lily turned one month on December 17th. She was very smiley for her picture. When she was that old she didn't really smile very much, so I'm glad we got a picture of one of her rare smiles.
Claire has decided that since Lily has a binky she should also have one, or two. Luckily her doll's binky is just for playing.
We had our annual Christmas Eve party at my Grandpa Wilson's house. We had a delicious meal, played our gift exchange game, and visited. The little girls got in their pajamas before we left and rocked in Grandpa's recliner. Claire loves my grandpa and often talks about "Papa Wilson" when we're at our home.| Claire, Lily, and Makenna |

Rusty and I both happened to get each other skin care products, which I found a bit amusing. I got him an electric razor, and he got me something that will take the dead skin off my feet.
This is how Claire and Lily bathe. I thought it was funny and wanted to remember it for later on. We didn't even mean to purposely sensor the picture. It's just how they were lying and how Rusty was holding Lily.
There was a big snow storm that came on Christmas and the following days after it. During Christmas break Hailey and Ryker invited Claire to play in the snow with them. It was her first real experience with snow, and she loved it. She even got quite a few rides on the sled.
Our neighbors gave us their old snow suit. I think Claire looks like a pink marshmallow in it!
Lily has been wearing the polar bear outfit this winter to stay warm.
On Sunday January 4th Rusty blessed Lily at church. We were able to cram our family members into our apartment after sacrament meeting so we could all eat a meal together. It was nice to have so many family members come and support us.

We celebrated my mom's birthday, which was January 12th. She got Claire and Makenna some matching outfits for Christmas.
On January 16th we went up to Idaho for my cousin Kayla's wedding in the Rexburg Temple. The reception was the night before. I tried to get a family photo, but Claire was being very difficult.| Rusty and me at the Rexburg Temple. |
On January 19th we decided to switch Claire to a toddler bed. We bought it off KSL a couple weeks ago, and it's been hiding in the closet. Claire was so excited when we set it up. She's enjoying the freedom a little too much, but she's been adjusting and fortunately still will nap even though she can now get out on her own. The first night she slept in it she fell asleep with her head on the bottom of the bed and her feet at the top. Sometimes she liked to twist around in her crib before she fell asleep. We heard her crying in the middle of the night. Rusty went in to check on her, and when he came back he told me that she had fallen on the carpet and just her feet were on the bed. Since then there have been no more falls.
January 20th was Rusty's 30th birthday! He has now left his twenties. We celebrated by going out to eat at Red Robin. All three of us ate a lot of fries, and Lily slept the whole time.
On Rusty's birthday Lily got to go to the doctor for her two month check-up. She is healthy and the doctor says she looks great. She sleeps awesome at night. I have to wake her up once a night to eat, but now that she's bigger I'm going to try and let her sleep through the night. I'm very excited to get my sleep back! Lily got some shots at her doctor visit and unfortunately was quite sad and had sore legs later that day before we went to celebrate Rusty's birthday. She usually doesn't cry much, so it was very sad to see her so upset. That night and the day after she was much happier and back to her regular self. Sometimes she likes to smile and coo, and it's very cute to see she's starting to get a little personality. Here are her two month stats:
weight: 9 lbs. 10 oz. (12th percentile)
height: 22 in. (28th percentile)
head: 14.75 in. (27.6 percentile)
