Easter Weekend

I started off Easter weekend by going on a hike with Kristen and my dad to the Salt Lake Overlook up Millcreek Canyon on Friday morning. 

It was really windy on top.

My mom was so kind and made Claire and Makenna Easter baskets. They got them early on Friday afternoon.  

On Saturday we went down to to my Grandpa's for our annual Easter party. The men went to the farm in the morning to brand and tag the new calves.

The calves were very sad, and their moms behind the fence were really mad.

Some of us girls went to the farm to watch. This was my first year seeing them actually do these things to the cows. It was quite disgusting.

My Grandpa Wilson is 89 and still is in the middle of the action.

Claire was memorized by all of it.

After the branding we came back to my Grandpa's and ate delicious burgers and food. Then we had an Easter egg hunt.

My mom got Claire a very cute dress to wear on Easter Sunday. She looked so old in it.

Sunday after church we went down to Rusty's sister Jenn's house for her Easter party. She was so kind and filled a lot of eggs for each of the kids.

Claire's new favorite activity with her Easter basket: walking around with it on her head. Sometimes we're afraid she'll walk right into the wall.

It was a wonderful weekend filled with a lot of fun and family time. I love Easter!
