Christmas Break

Christmas break was a great time. We were able to go down on the 23rd and stayed until January 2nd. It was nice to just relax and be with our families. We bounced back between my parents' house and Rusty's. On Christmas Eve we always have a party at my Grandpa's house in Payson. We have a $5 gift exchange. This year Chris brought some fake mustaches for his gift. They were a big hit! The men (and even Grandpa) had a pretty good time trying them on.
Kristen asked Rusty to draw a picture of her on the etch-a-sketch. This was the result.
Christmas day we opened presents with my family in the morning. Then we went down to Rusty's parents and hung out with his family for the rest of the day.

On December 29th we took my grandparents to the Humane Society to get a new kitty. There were so many cute animals there. I felt bad for all the grown cats and dogs in the cages. I wish I could take them all home.
They decided to get this cute kitty. I think she's very precious.
Also, over the break Kristen was brave enough to let me dye her hair. I've never done that before, but I think it turned out great! She kept saying during the dying process that I was giving her anxiety, but maybe she'll trust me more next time.
New Years Eve Rusty's family always parties until midnight. We played games, visited, and did some Wii dancing. It was a good time, and a great way to bring in the new year!
